About Cressida

Cressida Lowery was born in London. She studied Textile Design and Printmaking at Camberwell School of Art, graduating with a BA Hons. in 1986.

Her interests widened into 3 dimensional design which led her to study jewellery and its craft . She subsequently gained a City and Guilds Diploma in this subject .

For many years she has designed commercially for notable international jewellery companies, and has created her own precious metal and stone collections.

Alongside her successful career she has continued to create lino prints.

Architectural details and artisan objects feature strongly in her work, as do the patterns and shapes of the natural world.

All of our lino print cards are now supplied in packaging made from compostable and biodegradable vegetable stock.
