Cressida Lowery’s characterful works represent images inspired by her wide range of interests. These encompass jewellery flora , fauna , travel, landscapes and interior and exterior architectural themes that surround her . The designs aim to reflect shapes and patterns rather than realistic interpretation.  The final print images prove to be bold, dynamic and unique.

Using a converted mangle for a press, she prints mainly in two-tone on various mediums. Other than fine paper she prints on maps and pages from discontinued atlases which enhance the original quality of the final image. Having moved to an old port town in Devon, she is currently working on nautical themes, including boats, merchant houses and old-fashioned English tattoo art.
